If COVID has taught us anything, it’s how convenient it is to get tested at home. Yet current cancer screening programs are a hassle in Germany. As a result, people get tested too late, with harder treatments and lower chances of recovery, affecting thousands of lives each year. At DasLab, we set out to fix that by helping healthcare organizations digitize diagnostic testing journeys.

Health insurance companies struggled to find reliable partners capable of delivering at-home testing programs at scale. From ordering a test to receiving results and follow-up care, the screening journey was fragmented, confusing, and time-consuming for patients who were often already anxious.


Some patients also distrusted at-home testing for serious illnesses such as cancer, creating adoption barriers and reducing campaign participation.
